See Brian Speak on September 28 at the Unveiling of Ripple Effect

Spend an intimate evening with distinguished naturalist Brian Keating in celebration of the opening of Ripple Effect, an exhibition honouring endangered, threatened, and at-risk species from across Canada and Africa. Visitors will not only enjoy an informative and humorous presentation, they will also be first to view Ripple Effect, where proceeds of the sale of two Bronzes by artist Hermann Brandt will go directly towards supporting at-risk species at the Tashinga Initiative- A Wildlife Protection Trust located in Zimbabwe Africa.

A NATURAL RELATIONSHIP

Brian Keating will be presenting A Natural Relationship, which explores the need to encourage and nurture a bond with nature, for us and for the planet. Brian will highlight what has been termed “Nature Deficit Disorder”, and explore the importance of the natural experience and its effects on health and psychological well being. You will travel on a visual journey to some of his recent expeditions to Zimbabwe, The Congo, Rwanda, and Uganda, with the story being brought home to our very own Alberta backyard.

$70 per Ticket. Wine and cheese reception included. Leighton Art Centre members and invite only. Not a Leighton Art Centre member? Please call 403.931.3633 for an invitation before purchasing your ticket; we’d love for you to join us!
