Brian has met up with his group in Quito, Ecuador, and tomorrow morning will fly 1,000 km off shore out into the Pacific to the Galápagos. For the next 8 days, they will explore these remote islands and the unique life forms that live there. Each evening they will up anchor and travel much of the night, waking up at a different island and another day of exploration. He will be without Internet of course, but will be reporting in on CBC using his satellite phone, next week. As usual, the link will appear here.
